SpeedMate eSwing

The SpeedMate eSwing is built for applications where reach and accessibility matter. Its electro-pneumatic swing arm carries each pre-printed label on a vacuum tamp pad to different application points, so one configuration can label the front, the back or two sides of a product — on moving or stationary products, even in tight or complex layouts.

Labels are pressed on (tamp) or blown on without contact (tamp & blow), with ±1 mm typical accuracy and up to 40 cycles a minute. Speed, acceleration and stroke are fully controlled; nominal strokes are 250 and 400 mm — fixed, programmable or variable with a proximity sensor — and tamp pads go up to 160 × 123 mm.

Two stepper motors keep the liner at constant tension, preventing stretching and keeping dispensing smooth; the liner feeds at up to 70 m/min and rewinds up to Ø190 mm. Right- and left-hand versions take 120 mm or 180 mm liner, the unit is rated IP 2X, and it is run from an 800 × 480 touchscreen with IMA's LinkMate software on a PC for service. It shares its name with the FlexiMate eSwing, which prints and applies; the SpeedMate applies only.
