Full-electric wipe-on print & apply with vacuum-belt label transfer, for high-speed lines.
A high-speed print & apply system for moving products on high-capacity conveyor lines. A vacuum belt carries each label from the print engine to the point of application, where it is wiped on at up to 70 m/min with ±2 mm accuracy — and it needs no compressed air.
The FlexiMate eBelt is built for throughput. A vacuum belt takes each label from the print engine and carries it, continuously and without interruption, to the point of application, where it is wiped onto the product as it passes — on the top, the bottom or the side, at up to 70 m/min and with ±2 mm placement accuracy.
Because printing and application are separate phases joined by the belt, the print engine is not rushed by the line: print quality stays consistent even at high production speeds.
It is fully electric. No compressed air is required, which takes the compressor, the air line and their running cost out of the installation and keeps maintenance simple. The unit is modular, comes in right- and left-hand versions for 4" or 6" liner, unwinds rolls up to Ø350 mm, and is run from an 800 × 480 touchscreen, with IMA's LinkMate software on a PC for service.
