FlexiMate eCorner

A corner-wrap label solves a specific warehouse problem: a case on a pallet or a shelf shows only one or two faces, and a scanner has to find the code from wherever it happens to be. The FlexiMate eCorner places one label continuously across two adjacent surfaces, so the code stays readable from either side — supporting traceability and compliance where a missed scan matters.

Two electro-pneumatic liner applicators work in sync, coordinating placement on both faces in a single cycle so the label runs unbroken and aligned across the edge. It labels the front or the rear corner in the direction of movement, in eight corner combinations across the front, top, back and both sides, with ±1 mm typical accuracy and up to 15 cycles per minute; its technical data gives static products as the typical application.

The unit is modular: right- or left-hand versions for 4" or 6" liner, a nominal stroke of 250, 350 or 500 mm that is programmable or variable with a proximity sensor, Quick Exchange FlexPad tamp pads, and a liner rewind of up to Ø250 mm. It is run from an 800 × 480 touchscreen, with IMA's LinkMate software on a PC for service; Ethernet is available as an option.
