The fastest applicator in the SpeedMate range: a compact, modular wipe-on system for pre-printed labels that reaches 100 m/min with ±0.5 mm accuracy, works in line with TTO printers and laser markers, and offers remote diagnostics.
The SpeedMate PRO is the applicator to specify when the line is fast. Developed by the IMA Labeling Innovation Center, it wipes pre-printed labels onto moving products — on the top, the bottom or the side — at up to 100 m/min with ±0.5 mm typical accuracy, on primary and secondary packaging alike. Like the rest of the SpeedMate range it carries no print engine.
A multi-motor architecture keeps the liner under precise control, so dispensing stays smooth and consistent at speed, and reel meter sensors on both the unwinder and the rewinder connect as standard. The unit works in line with TTO printers and laser marking systems for coding and traceability, and has a dedicated connector for tandem configuration.
It is fully programmable, with advanced diagnostics, remote access for diagnostics, configuration and maintenance, and multi-level user management, run from an 800 × 480 touchscreen and IMA's LinkMate software on a PC. Right- and left-hand versions cover 2", 4", 6" and 10" liner with a short or long peeling blade; it rewinds up to Ø245 mm and is rated IP54.
